Aluko Damilola (Adam Songbird)

Aluko Damilola, professionally known as Adam Songbird, is a Nigerian film score composer, singer-songwriter, and sound designer whose work blends contemporary scoring with deep African musical influences.

He began his career as a recording and performing artist before transitioning into film composition, with Eti Keta (2012) marking his entry into cinema. His film scoring credits include The Prophetess, King of Thieves, Battle on Buka Street, Jagun Jagun, Mikolo, and House of Secrets, among others.

Adam Songbird received Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) nominations in 2023 for Best Soundtrack (King of Thieves and Battle on Buka Street).

His work is known for emotional depth, cultural texture, and strong narrative alignment.
