Samuel Osuolale Jonathan is an award-winning Nigerian Director of Photography and Technical Director with extensive experience across film, television, commercials, and documentaries.
Trained in Mass Communication with a specialization in Photojournalism and Cinematography from Lagos State University, his career spans decades of visual storytelling at the highest professional level. He is the recipient of the MSAA Africa Best Cinematographer of the Year award and an AMVCA nominee for The Mystic River.
Samuel’s body of work includes major Nollywood films, long-running television series, and international productions, where he is known for visual discipline, technical leadership, and cinematic clarity.
